ASSISTANCE REQUIRED

SYDNEY, This Day
When the Royal Commission resumed at 11 o'clock this morning an officer of tho Auditor General's Department asked tho Judge (Mr. Justice Halso Rogers) for further assistance from the Public Servico Department. Ho estimated that two men, working twelve hours a day, would take six weeks to examine the books and papers of seventeen companies into whose activities the Commission was inquiring. .'His Honour agreed that it was dos'irablo to deal with important details as soon as possible in order that the companies' business should not be interfered with., unnecessarily.
Tho Commission adjourned to enable assistance to bo obtained.
