Although the Australian, cricketers in their first innings against Warwickshire at Birmingham made the moderate scorb of 221, tho total was too great for the county side. From 20 for three wickets Warwickshire today carried their, total to 179, Croom, Santall, and Cranmcr batting well. England's captain, Wyatt, did not settle down, and was disini*ed cheaply.
