Now Zealand has participated as usual at the Aldorshot Show, in .the Bushmoor Arona. Not only is this fixture a horse show, but it is real!)': a very exciting military display—perhaps the best military display in Great Britain. This year it seems to bo making even a greater appeal than previously.

■ Entries for tho horse and hound shows total 074, which is 11 more than last yoar, and it is hoped to improve on the attendances in 1933 of 36,735, which is the largest so fur. The Empire Section covers a wide expanso of the show area, countries participating being Canada, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Rhodesia, and Great-Britain. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company have a display making a '■pecial feature of their round voyage facilities for 100 days' travel at the cost of £112. The Empire exhibits are in four huge marquees. The New Zealand stand is prominent and occupies lOOftin length. The contra] feature is a tourist display with a large illuminated representation of a fiord, on one side special attention being directed to the Waitomo Caves, with Mr. Bernard Shaw's .appraisement, and on the other typical photographs of New Zealand scenery and Tourist Department facilities, and mention being niado of the opportunities afforded by tho exchange in favour of travellers from Europe. There is also a display of deer head and trout. In the wings space is devoted to display of dairy produce and lamb, honey and apples. The apples are particularly rrood and they make an attractive feature. Samples of butter, cheese, apples, and honey are available for sale; £20 was taken on the first day.
