A leg wag thrown into the air and dropped into a street at Folkestone, Kent, recently, when a motor-cyclist and a car came in collision. A woman fainted, there ware screams of horror. An emergency call was telephoned to police and ambulance stations. The ambulance rushed to the scene with two policemen. Then they found that the leg was an artificial one. .■
Mr. John Joyce, who claimed to be the oldest person in the British Isles, has died at Lenane, County. Gal way. He was reported to be 117 year's old and to have' been a worker for over 100 years. His recipe for long life was "plenty of good food, exercise, and sleep." _
