PRICE AND RETURN

In the table hereunder, notified sales on the Stock Exchange for the week ended noon yesterday are recorded with the highest and lowest pricei received and the approximate yields pei cent per annum- redemption md brokerage beitij; considered on Government and other debentures where dated Returns are based on the. highest prices reported'during the week, and the last annual dividends. The 3% per cent. Government stock and bonds are free of income tax to the half-yearly interest dates nest following their pre-conversion maturity dates, but all '•yields are subject to appropriate taxation and exchange.
