Miss Merle Oberon, the film actress, says: "I have changed my minft. We became engaged this morning. The date of tho wedding has not yet been arranged." Miss Oberon, a Tasmanian, aged 23, had formerly denied that she was engaged to Mr. Joseph M. Schenck, aged 51, president of United Artists.
