UNFIT TO FAST
GANDHI DEFIES DOCTORS
CALCUTTA, August 8. Doctors report that Mahatma Gandhi is badly run down, his heart is weak, and that he is generally unfit to undertake the fast ho has just started. Doctor friends tzied to persuade him to end the fast, but lie said the decision was irrevocable.
