The Eseharpelle colliery strike endo<J this evening after lasting a day an 3 a half. Later in the day the colliery maiv agers sent a foreman and four asistauta to parley with the Poles, but a note was Bent up to the surface to say that the envoys were also held as hostages. Meanwhile a strong police force Wa# called up. Finally the management settled thft dispute and the whole shift of 178| eanio to the surface.
