CALCUTTA, August 7.
The United Provinces Government is to establish a sanctuary for wild life.
. An announcement to this effect was made by the Governor (Sir Malcolm Hailey) fthen replying to an address from the Association for tho Preservation of Game in India.
That body deplored tho destruction of valuable big and sniall jtmglo and mountain animals which, owing to jungle clearanco and motor-car shikaris were Hearing extinction.
