MEMBO'S MISFORTUNES
MenVbo had the misfortune to cut one of Inn legs through contact -with a fence, and the mishap cnnscil him to miss a race over the Hicearton country in the Lawford Steeplechase last Saturday. He is being kept in useful work at Washdyke, however, and it is. hoped that lie will be able tv fulfil his Grnnd National engagement next week. The present intention is to bring him to Kiccarton, on Friday iinel fo school him on the following day. R. Uealc lias been engaged to ride him.
