Tlie rose season, which is iv -May and Juno lasts for five weeks, and during the J933 season 57 co-operatives. 12 private firms, and 572 growers distilled 3599 32 kilos, of attar of roses from 13.028,100 kilos, of roses. In pre-war years and those immediately following the war. this product, formed one of Bulgaria's principal items of export.
