CARGO FOR HULL
MEAT AND DAIRY PRODUCE

In order to mark the resumption of direct meat shipments from' New Zealand to the port of Hull, Sir James Parr visited the 6teamer Westmoreland, discharging there, and said he wanted to see more direct contact between New Zealand and He mentioned that Glasgow discharges of lamb, butter, and cheese had increased 200 per cent, in six years, and butter and cheese at five of the largest of the western ports of the United Kingdom had almost trebled in seven years.
Sir James Parr , was entertained at luncheon at the Hull Guildhall by ■ the New Zealand. Dairy and Meat Boards. The Deputy Lord Mayor of Hull described the occasion as a red-letter day in Hull's history-
