MISLEADING LIGHTS
v Captain Andrews, the Scarborough harbourmaster, discovered recently that private hotel electric signs looked to mariners very much the same five Smiles out as the red light on the Scarborough, lighthouse, which gives tho signal to vessels when it is safo to enter the harbour. Ho reported to the harbour commissioners that the hotel signs would cither have to bo removed or there would have* to be a change in the lighthouse. light.
