BOARD CHAIRMAN'S VIEWS

Mr.; David Jones, chairman of the New Zealand Meat Board, in a statement in the Christchurch "Press," said the board had made arrangements for the shipmerit of reasonable quantities of beef in quarters to Great Britain. Producers of bobby calves were receiving Od a head less than they had done before the embargo against their shipment. This had removed a difficulty with which the dairy factories had been faced, said Mr. Jones. They were now getting an abundant supply of veils for cheese-making.
