Suteliff© had an attack of giddiness while batting today and retired, but resumed later.
A. W. Carr, in the "Yorkshire Observer," declares that he will be surprised *if Larwod is included in the Notts team against the Australians. "I am anxious for Larwood to play," he said, '' but until the whole question of his positiofl. is settled it would be unwise to place him in a' compromising situation. The match: offers the Australians a fine opportunity to sink their grievances and give a sporting lead." A later message states that Larwood, who has sprained a heel tendon, is unlikely to be able to bowl for Notts against the Australians.
