A FINE PROGRAMME

The Wellington South Company of the Girl Guides presented a very interesting performance in the Concert Chamber of J the Town Hall on Satur-j day' night. It' was entitled the "Girl Guide Gaieties," and proved very popular with 'the large' audience that attended. . Tlie first half of the programme was a pageant of .the..'history of the, Guides from their inception in 1909. It is mentioned that the Irish Guides are looking forward to welcoming visitors, from all over the world with the greatet pleasure. It is hoped that some New Zealand Guides will be able to accept the invitation so cordially given.
