Cases in the Magistrate's Court today were dealt with, by Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M. " ' , , 1 For a second statutory offence of drunk-enness-William Corton, aged 31, a, salesman, was fined 10s. John Blair Crossan, aged 40, a bricklayer, and John Barwood Murray, aged 54, a bricklayer, were each charged with drunkenness and with avoiding payment of a tram fare. On the former charge they were convicted and discharged, and on the latter they each fined ss. "He's one of a band of larrikins and doesn't work." said Senior-Sergeant J. Dompsey, regarding Robert William Masters, ntscd 20. a clerk, who was lined C-2 for figlitina in Adelaide Road.
