MR. ULM BACK AGAIN
PRACTICABLE SERVICE
SYDNEY, August 1.
Mr. C. T. P. trim's Faith in Australia arrived at Sydney today fro New Guinea with a largo consignment of mails, and continued. to Canberra.
Mr. Ulnx said that in threo days ho passed through conditions verging from extreme tropical heat to snow and ice. He added that the lesson from the flight was that there would be no difficulty in conducting air services between Australia and Now Guinea along tho route ho had adopted.
TRANSATLANTIC LINE
VIA BERMUDA OR ICELAND
LONDON, August 1.
With -a view to a British transatlantic air service to Canada by flyingboats, Imperial Airways is considering calling tenders _or suitable craft for a proposed service via Bermuda or Iceland and Greenland, according to the season.
The service would be maintained by 2p flying-boats, multi-engined, and dosigned to accommodate from 30 to 50 passengers.

RUGBY, August 1.
Bear-Admiral Sir Murray Suetor, M.P., and Major-General Sir Frederick Sykes, granted members of the Post Office Air Mail panel, and Group-Cap-tain Primrose, Royal Air Force (retired) have been appointed Air Mail advisers to the Post Office.
