The conference of fruit exporters adopted, a Motuoka remit today urging that until more adequate .accommodation is available for tho holding of large quantities of export fruit, the Fruitexport Control Board should arrange that ,70,000 eases be a maximum cargo to be lifted by any overseas vessel at Nelson. "We are influenced largely by the troublo experienced in gathering-largo quantities of fruit for direct shipment at Port Nelson," said Mr. A. E. Lindup in moving, the remit. "We find that where quantities of over 50,000 eases have to bo accumulated considerable delay occurs between the time the fruit is packed and tho time it is put on the ship."
