LONDON, July 16. ■ Hopwood has been invited to attend at Leeds for the fourth Test.
Mr. Bushby, the Australian team's manager, expects Chipperfipld to be fit for the Test.
The "Yorkshire Observer says that Verity on Friday received a communication from the Test selectors desiring him not to bow] against, the Australians in this match. . '
Critics generally are satisfied with the English 14 for the fourth Test.
The Australian Press Association expresses tho opinion that the selection, of tho team is obviously based on the idea of having suitable players available irrespective of the weatlicr. The batting is wisely unaltered, but, with the possibility of tho inclusion of Langridge, Keeton, and Nichols, a muchnecded tonic may be administered to fielding.
