TABLE TENNIS
_At the recent meeting of the Hutt Valley Table Tennis sub-Association executive committee it was decided to hold a Hutt Valley table tennis championship tournament. - The championship will be divided /into three sections:—Section 1, players from A and B grades; section 2, players from C and D grades; section 3, ladies only. Considerable interest is being taken in the progress of the game in the Hutt Valley, and the toiimament should provide ample opportunity for players to demonstrate tlieir ability. Players intending to participate must enter not later than August 6.
While proceeding along the Hutt, Eoad this morning a motor-car of a late model skidded and crashed into a telegraph post. One side of the car was fairly extensively damaged, but nobody was injured;; ' ' ■ . - '
