SHOWER OF METEORS
SEEN IN ANTARCTIC

MONTREAL, July 15. Little America reports that the Byrd Expedition's meteor observatory on the night of July 12 ami the morning of July 13 observed an unchai'terod meteor shower, which may rank as one of the most plentiful ever .witnessed since the celebrated Leonid shower of 1833. Palo, burning, swiftly-expiring streaks of light traversed tho sky in such numbers that two recorders were hard-put'to set down their night.
