MANAWATU V. HOROWHENUA
• (Special to the "Evening Post.") LEVIN, This Day. The first of two home-and-away matches between A and B teams of the Manawatu and Horowhenua was played at Levin on Saturday. These representative Sanies serve as trial matches for the purpose of selecting a combined Manawheuua team to.travel to •Duiredin in August to take part' in the Dominion tournament. The combined team will be announced after the return match at Palraerston ivorth on Saturday, July 2S. The results of Saturday's matches arc:— Horowhenua A, 15; Manawatu A, 12. Horowhenua B. K5; Hanawatn 8.-13.
