WHOLESALE RELEASES
INDIAN STATE PRISONERS

CALCUTTA, July 15. Since Congress was declared a lawful body there have been wholesale.releases of civil disobedience State prisoners of whom there are now only a handful in the wholo of India. Mr. Ballabhai Patel, who next to Pundit Jahawarlal Nehru, is the most important Congress leader, has been released after three ■years.
