EDMOND CUP
The Edmond.Cup contest at Dunedin: last Saturday furnished a .number of surprises both in the teams event and in: the individual; placings. J. G. Barnes and Tj. C. McLachlan, who were favoured, had to give way to W. -Ay Pullan, who ran a well-judged race to win by 15 yards. The teams race resulted in Civil Service being beaten by Anglican (Nc». 1), wha topped the list by a fair margin of points. There was a field of IS4 starters, wfti'ch is five more than the previous, record. ,
