INDOOR BOWLING
Games played at tho Winter Show indoor.bowling green this week includedcompetitions under the- auspices of tho "Evening" Post" Indoor Bowling Club. A challenge for tho-L. C. Blundcll Buttons was successfully defended in a keenly-contested gauie, the scores being: Drake, Nankivell, Fordo, Swiuey (s), 23; Morgau-Davies, Tampiin, Mellor, J. B. Blundell (s), 15. Games were played to determine the first holders of tho "Evening Post" Stars, the rink with the- biggest winning margin to be the holders. Bishop's rink was successful. The- results were:—Hill, Culverwell, L. c. Blundell, Bishop (s), 27; Gray, Butler, Honiblow, Cull (s), 12. Neale, E. Clark, J, McGee, Brown (s), 2(5; Burke, Athea, R. McGce, Turner (s), 16. A game between combined rinks resulted as follows:—Misses Evatt and Taylor, Stewart and Boshiev (s). 17; Misses Fitzgerald and Parkhouse, Parkhouse and Hanley (s), 12. Results of an inter-club triangular match, were:—Hataitai: Wrigley, Johnstone, Wells, Wellings (s), 20j Seatoun: McAnally, Bessant, Page, Snelling (s), 16. Newtown: Green, West, Pollock, Warwick (s), 22; Seatoun: Ramsdon, Oldfield, Higgins, Glennio (s), 12. Hataifai: Rae, Cathie, Wearno, Cometti (s), 27; Newtown: Press, Newson, Guise, Barker (s), 13.
