; -The horse- was being taken from Wa> nganui Easst to the- racecoiirse i for training operations, but when crossing the Dublin Street, bridge he was-struck by ni motor-cycle, a hind leg being, fractured. The_ : accident occurred on the narrow portion of the bridge, the thoroughfare being restricted owing to repairing.-opera-tions. It was most unfortunate for Gordon, for the gelding, a brother to Just an1 Idea/ was.'considered to be one of the most promising1 juveniles in• training.,- ? ;
