CLOTHES DRIVE PROJECTED
. The Lower Hutt . branch of " the Red Cross Society intends holding a clothes drive in the course or two or three weeks. The president/Mrs. J. Mitchell, states that the society is finding this the most 'difficult winter yet experienced. All the useful clothing hold by the society has been' used, and those in need are finding that the clothing and bedding purchased in more prosperous^ times are worn out. The great need, states Mrs. Mitchell, is for warm clothing, mattresses, bedding, etc. The advent of the district nurse in the district is meeting a lorig-felt need, and she is being kept busily employed. Nurse Anstice is located in Feist's Buildings. Her telephone, numbor is 63-043, and her private address 24 Puriri Street. Lower Hutt.
