FALSIFICATION CHARGES
THE JURY'S RIDER

GISBOENE, This Day. After a hearing of more than two days, Mr. Justice Blair directed- the jury to return a, verdict of' not guilty in the cases in which Bangi Eoyal and Edward Biddle were, charged with falsifying wages sheets connected with the Ruatoki land development scheme.
His Honour held that the defence had given a complete answer to the allocations. . ' • ■ " . ' ■
The jury added a tider stating that the irregularity that had occurred could have been satisfactorily straightened out by the Audit Department and the Department in charge of the work without Royal and Biddle being put to the worry and expense of being brought before the Court.
