ACCIDENT IN TUNNEL
While a motor-cyclist was .passing through the Hataitai Tunnel shortly after 11 o'clock this morning his machine ran out of petrol. He dismounted and was examining the petrol tank when a motor-lorry, driven, by James Powell ran into him, the driver of the lorry not having noticed him. The cyclist's name is John Gill, and "he lives in Strathaven Road", Imamar. He was not badly injured, and' was taken home after being attended to by Pr. Tennent. The motor-cycle was not damaged.
During the year' 1932-33 the Londbm County , Council provided 3923 dwellings, oi which 2630 were cottages.
