VALUABLE BIRDS
FOR WELLINGTON ZOO
A valuable consignment of about twelve dozen, finches, including' a number of gouldians, arrived for ,the Wellington Zoo by the Monowai today. The birds i have come from the Sydney Zoo ,and are all in good .condition. 'There have been no gouldians in the "Wellington Zoo for some years, and their arrival has caused keen interest among 'bird-lovers. A pair of pelicans and a number of monkeys are also expected shortly from Sydney.
