Last season Cotoneaster won seven out of her nine races, and was unplaced in two events. She started off her three-year-old career by -winning the Free Handicap (£1260) under 6.10, being at extreme odds, this being her most important success from a stake-winning point of view. Last season The Blue Boy won the Great Foal Stakes at Newmarket.
Scarlet Tiger finished fourth' in last year's Derby and third in the St. Leger. He is a half-brother to Light Brocade (by Galloper Light), runner-up to Campanula in the One Thousand Guineas a few days ago. ■ • • '
