TENNIS FASHION EXTENDS

LONDON, May 9.
Miss M. Barron, the Welsh golfer, playing in. the women's championship at Porthcawl, appeared in grey flannel trousers, surprising even her Welsh colleagues, who said that trousers were a breach of golfing etiquette. Miss Barron replied that she was going to continue in trousers. She was sure objectors would get used to'them.
The Ladies' Golf Union has decided not to interfere with players' personal wishes, considering that women could wear trousers if they wished, especially as women wore shorts.at tennis.
