WEDDING
HISLOP--SCARFE.
Tho wedding took place at St. Mark's Church yestoiday of Florence, elder daughter of Mr. and' Mrs. D. P. Searfc, and Thomas Gordon Ilislop, Hataitai. Tho Ecv. P. W. Kempthorne officiated, and Mr. Lawrence Watkins was at the organ. ; The bride, who was escorted by .her father, wore a beautiful gown of arigelskin lace/her veil was caught at the head by a circlet of orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of gladioli and roses. The, two bridesmaids, Miss Joyce Scarfe (sister of the bride) and Miss Marjbrie Davis, wore charming frocks of< cream net over palest pink satin.' Their Victorian posies were of pink shaded flowers. Tho bridegroom's brother, Mr. Neville His'lop, was best man, and Mr. Bryant groomsman. " Mr. and Mrs. Scarfe received the guests, at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. Scarffi wore a frock of black georgette and lace. Mrs. Hislop, mother of tho bridegroom, wore a vintage lace frock.
