RELIEF WORKERS' GRIEVANCE

About fifty Johnsonvillo relief workers, dissatisfied with their treatment on. the matter of pay for wet weather, made their way to Parliament Buildings during tho lunch hour today and requested ,an. interview with Labour" members of Parliament. Mr. K. McKocn, M.P. for Wellington South, interviewed two of the men, and after listening to their- grievances arranged for representatives of tho workers to interview tlioEnginecr-in-Chief of the Public Works Department (Mr. C. J. McKcnzie) this afternoon.' On receiving an assurance that they would have :i chance of stating their case in the proper quarter, tho men dispersed.
