NOT THE ONLY ONE
BRADMAN'S "DUCK'S EGG"
Much is being made of 'Bradman's " duck's egg." It is not by any means his first; there are well over a dozen in his basket, and half a dozen are of the first-class variety, two of them from Queensland, one from England (in Australia), one from West Indies (in Australia), one from South Australia, and the latest from Cambridge University. The best of cricketers get them. There is one thing about Bradman's latest "duck," and that is that it affords other members of the team tin opportunity of getting amongst the runs, and they are relishing.it. And this fact is revealed after six days' play on the tour: the Australian side is by no means a Bradman-Grimmett combination. Already all the batsmen who have played have made good scores, and in the bowling department O'Ecilly, for one, has performed up to expectations.
