BOOTS FOR UNEMPLOYED
It is'understood from liquiries made of the Unemployment Board today that there is every likelihood of another issue of boots being made to unemployed men this •winter. A "Post" reporter was informed that ii definite decision had not yet been reached, but the indications were that an issue would be made. It is expected that the conditions governing the supply of boots will be much the same as those of last year. Any worker receiving employment on a rationed basis under the X.o. 5 scheme, and who had been in receipt" of such work for 26 consecutive weeks, was eligible to be supplied with one pair of working boots in. Teturn for one day's additional work under the No. 5 scheme.
