"A NIGHT IN EGYPT."
Scenes from an Egyptian--cabaret; together With "other Eastern attractions, will be presented in "A Night in Egypt/ to be staged at the Island Bay U.S.A. Auxiliary's dance at the Masonic Hall, Island Bay, next Tuesday. The committee lias made comprehensive arrangements for the event, and has concentrated on presenting the '"Egyptian night" in true Eastern style. There will be an Egyptian orchestra, a visit from an Eastern potentate and his suite, special displays of eastern dancing by the pupils of Miss Phyllis Oliver, and a general atmosphere of incense and mystery. A cabaret supper will be provided and prizes will be given for the best Eastern costume. The dialogue for the scenes was written by Miss Pat Kerr.
