A Good Concert. Mr. C. J. Evans and Mr. L. Bruan gave an entcrtainincilt in thn Mrs. T. C. j Willifims Ward, Victoria Hospital, recently. An excellent programme was provided, the.items being provided by j Miss Ferguson, Mr. C. Priddle; Miss Astill, Mr. Laurie Broan, Miss Flora McKenzic, and Mr. Clarie Evans. Tho old-timo songs were much enjoyed, and thanks were expressed by Nurse Jorgensen, the charge nurse. A Presentation. Mrs. A. I. Fraer, J.P., was presented with a badge of ionour for distinguished services at tho annual conforenco of tho National Council of Womon of Now Zealand, which concluded in Ohristchui'ch on- Friday,' states the "Press." The presentation was made by tho president (Miss TS. E. Carnat'iiaii)> who spoke highly of Mrs. FniGr's work over many years. Delegates rcccivod the presentation cnthnsiaslieally and sang "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow,"
