CRASH IN JUNGLE
PLANE CARRYING GOLD
SOLE SURVIVOR FOUND
BOGOTA, April 7.
Newton Marshall, sole survivor of five men in an aeroplane which crashed while carrying ■ a consignment of gold to Choco,- on the Pacific, from Medellin, has been discovered after living on roots and vines for two" weeks.in the jungle. ■ ■.;■' . Two others were killed in the crash, and the others died of injuries.
Bahia del Choco, with the post of Buenaventura, is on the Pacific Coast of the Republic of Colombia, and Medellin is one of the chief inland cities in the valley of the Cauca. Bogota is tho capital.
