Jean ■Rochotaillade, 47-year-old miller, of Chc.niers, after learning tlutt 1)0 had won the prize of £C 2,500 in tlic French national lottery. Chcniers is a small town in the centre of France, not far from Limoges. M. Roehetailladc, who is married and the father of two boys, has the reputation of being an. excellent, miller and a very hard worker. He was already busy in his mill at 7
o'clock in tlio morning whon the manager of a bank, in the neighbouring town of Gtterct, where the ticket-was bought, arrived on the scene to inform, him of his good luck. Tho miller showed1 no sign of emotion and simply emphasised the fact that he would change none of his habits and that he would not pose for photographers.
