The first of the season's pvogriimmo events, a stroke competition, was played lit Miramai- on Saturday. In tho A grade G. S/Robs'-returned "the -best ' score of. 76, 4—72, and in the B grade, E. C. Inkstcr was the winner with 92, '2i —68.
