MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Cases in the Magistrate's Court today were dealt with by Mr. W. i\ Stilwe'll, S.M. lines of 10s each, in default three days' imprisonment,, were imposed on James Cavanfigh, aged 35, ji fireman, and Ghurlcs Aubcron Goddard, aged 64, a labourer, for a second statutory offence of drunkenness. . ' • William Percy Olds, aged 42, a labourer, was convicted and discharged for drunkenness and was fined £1, in default seven days' imprisonment, for using indecent' language in a public place., For' a fourth statutory offence of drunkenness Vernon Patrick Rowlands, aged 46, a. labourer, was sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment. ' A further remand until Friday was granted in the ease of. Ernest Cook, aged 49, a farmer, who is charged with having been found in a state of intoxication while in charge of a car.
