HEALTH INSURANCE
FARMERS' SCHEME IN OTACO

DUNEDIN, This Day.
The Clutha branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union has decided to initiate a voluntary health insurance scheme in South Otago, and to impress upon the Government the necessity for a national compulsory scheme. The Hospital Boards' Association and the Minister of Health advised that there w-as no obstacle to a voluntary scheme- being initiated if sufficient interest were stimulated.
