HEAVY SENTENCE
MANSLAUGHTER IN SAMOA
APIA, March 28. aaniasi, a Samoan. youth charged with the murder of a Sainoan man, TTsoalii, of the village of Saasaai, Savaii, on February 26, by stabbing him in the stomach with a serrated blade of a swordstick, was found guilty of manslaughter by the- High Court,' presided over by Chief Judge Luxford and three European assessors and one Samoan assessor. • Prisoner was : sentenced to fifteen" years' imprisonment' with hard labour.
