The Admiralty announces that RearAdmiral Kennedy Purvis is to be Assistant-Chief of Naval Staff in succession to Bear-Admiral Sidney Bailey from August 15. "' Rear-Admiral Bailey is to bo EearAdmiral Commanding . the Battlo Cruiser Squadron in succession to ViceAdmiral ■ William James, from August 10.
