The seventh contest-between the university colleges of New Zealand for the Heberley Shield for eight-oared^crews will be rowed at Lyttelton today over a course of approximately two and a half miles from Go.vernor 's Bay to Corsair Bay. Canterbury College;- the present holders of the shield, have won three times altogether, the trophy, having been taken three times .by .Victoria College. Victoria is not competing this'year, because the Wellington Eowing Association was unable to lend its boat. Otago and Canterbury will row in the number, two boats of-their associations, and Auckfand will use its new boat recently bought in Australia. The Canterbury crew,, is:—T. E. Evans stroke, H.
