HOLIDAY AMUSEMENTS
JUMPING AND HORStPARADE
Thursday was a; busy day at the Easter Show, and a very largo attendance is expected this evening and again oii Monday afternoon and evening.
This afternoon the main attraction, apart from the excellent displays and the various indoor amusements, is' the horse show and the programme of events outdoors, including the judging' of draughts, trotters, and ponies, the jumping competitions, and '"musical chairs." The entries,are. very, satisfactory. The horsed show and competitions will be continued on Monday. Oh [Monday afternoon the Dominion ladies' jump, the pony jump, and the Players hunters' cup'competition will be contested. '
Tonight all the amusements will be ill full swing, and music will bo provided by the Port Nicholson Silver Band. ' ■" : • ' '
