HANS AND HANSI
FILM STAE'S EOMANCE
FIRM CANCELS CONTRACT
United Tress Association—By Electric Telecraph—Copyright (Received March 31, 2.15 p.m.) LONDON, March 30. The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Express", states that Hans Albers, a handsome, blue-eyed stage and screen idol, described as the Gorman Valentino, defied the Government and married Fraulein Hansi Berg, a pretty Jewish actress. When the film director came and told him he must not be seen with Fraulein Hansi Heir Albers, without a word, ' threw the director out of his flat. Next day the pair motored to Prague", where they were married, returning to face the storm. The film firm immediately cancelled Albers's high-salary' contract, and it is unlikely that he will ever be allowed to appear in a German film again. He is still appearing on the stage.
