MOVE TOWARDS INFLATION
(Received March' 29; 2.30 p.m.) : WASHINGTON, March 28. The Senate followed the House lead in overriding President Roosevelt's veto on the Independent Offices Bill by a vote of 63 to 27. ...'".■;'. The heavy strain which the Budget legislation entails is likely to become an important factor in the inflation controversy. Observers, believe that it may possibly revive 'the dcrtiands either for printing press money or the remonetisation of silver, as Congress has provided no new taxation to meet the increased expense.'
